Our Home!
We promised last week that we could give you a guided tour of where we are living!!
Photo 1- shows the view of the compound as you drive in. The guest apartment that we are living in is on the left-the house with the car outside.
Photo 2-We are living on the left side of the house. We have made a makeshift washing line at the front. We don't have air conditioning at the minute but have fans. It can get very hot-currently 30-35 degrees!
Photo 3-standing at our gate!
Photo 4-At the front of our house. We are standing with one of our guards. The compound is guarded continually.
Photo 5-our living room!! We are asking you to use your imagination.
Photo 6-Our kitchen. This week we need to get kitchen units and appliances! Pray we will be able to find all that we need!
Photo 7-tiling in progress! We hope this will be finished this week!!
Photo 8-Our garden. It is such a blessing to have room around our house so that the twins can play! It is a lovely quiet setting and we waken to the birds singing!
Please pray for us during this week!! We are sometimes overwhelmed by the amount of work that still needs to be done! Pray that progress will be made and that we can get into our house soon and feel settled!
Thanks for your prayers regarding Abigail and Joshua taking their malaria meds. We are giving them in cadbury's buttons and they love it!! Parcel idea number 1!!!
Please pray for our DIRE application (Document of identifaction for foreign residents). We are unsure how long it will take-possibly 6 weeks! Once we submit our application we cannot leave to go to South Africa! Please pray it will be processed quickly! We hope to check out health clinics this week and register with our embassy!
Thanks for your prayers!
