We have not fallen off the face of the Planet!

Hi!! We are still here! Sorry that it is almost a month since our last entry! Time has just flown by! Construction is progressing. The classrooms are taking shape, floors are poured and since this photo has been taken the walls between the classrooms are now built up creating 6 classrooms in this space. Beurocracy continues to be frustrating! For almost a month the Government office could not find the file relating to the property so no new submissions could be made. Melvin kept going to the office to submit plans and each time they told him he couldn't until they found the file. Praise God, this week they, at last, found the file and a submission should be made this Friday God willing. Pray for the construction project that God will hold everything in the palm of His hand!
It was wonderful to have mum and dad with us for almost 3 weeks-what a blessing!! It was great to have them share in our everyday lives and ministry here. Abigail and Joshua loved having them around! There were lots of toys played with and stories read!We also took a trip to Kruger Park! We all loved enjoying God's wonderful creation! We had a wonderful sighting of a leopard. Abigail loves to find little seats! At Kruger she found a seat just made for her-it just happened to be a water dispenser!!
Joshua is full of life and fun. Life is a great big adventure of exploration and he keeps us on our toes-well literally on our feet all day!!
Abigail and Joshua are doing well. They were both sick for some of the time when mum and dad were here and had to get antibiotics. Joshua has recovered completely but Abigail is still not 100%. Continue to pray for protection for them especially regarding health.

It was so hard when the time came for mum and dad to go home. The hardest thing about being here is being so far from family and friends that we love so much. However God grace is sufficient for all of us, He knows how difficult it is and gives help in our time of need. His faithfulness endures forever.

Ali, the Girassol shop manager, and her husband, Stephen, arrived the day after mum and dad left. It is so exciting to have them here so they can see Mozambique first hand. The ministry of the shop is so important in what God desires to do here in Mozambique & we are excited to see God opening up doors of opportunity.

Hi Sharon & Melvin,
Always good to read your blog and see the photos. Brilliant this time to see your mum and dad Sharon and to see the children growing up quickly! Thinking of you all often, love Naomi x
